Period Table Grading Rubric

Must be organized and displayed conforming to standard periodic tables. Must list 112 elements.	Points possible
Atomic number for each element - 0.25 points for each	28
Chemical symbol for each element - Symbol to be color coded based on solid, liquid, gas or not found in nature - 0.25 points for each	28
Element name in a comment box - 0.25 points for each	28
Atomic mass for each element - 0.25 points for each	28
Hyperlink to web site with details of the element - must have at least one link per property	4
Each subgroup must have a different color cell background i.e., metal, nonmetal, semimetal, gas - 5 points for each group	20
Groups and Periods to be numbered and labeled	2
Group identification in a comment box that includes family name.	9
Comment box with definitions of group and period	2
Saved in your folder and named Periodic Table	1
