Wii U

The Wii U is the latest console by Nintendo. This is the first home console that can be played on an HD tv. It is also the first console ever to have another screen that can also be used as a controller. This is called, the “Gamepad”. The Wii U is the predecessor to the original Wii. You can use Wii remotes as well as the Wii Pro Controller, the Wii Classic Controller, and more on the Wii U.

There are many games that are made for the Wii U, such as Zombie U, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Super Mario 3D World, Nintendo Land, and many, many more. Some games that are made for Wii U are also made for the 3DS, Nintendo’s latest hand-held console. There are many amazing features to the Wii U. The Gamepad has a front facing camera so you can Wii U Chat with your friends that also have a Wii U. It also holds a tv button, where you are able to control your tv. You can turn it off, on, change the input, turn the volume up or down, change the channel, and look for things to watch. The Wii U also comes with its own pre-downloaded social network by Nintendo, called Miiverse.

You are also able to create a “Mii”. A Mii is an avatar that you make to look like a person. It can look like you, or whatever you want it to look like. Now, if you want to go onto Miiverse and other online features, you have to make a Nintendo Network ID. You just fill out some basic information, create a username and password, and you’re done. Making it is free and takes only a few minutes.

One great feature of the Wii U is you are able to play the console without the tv on or on the correct setting. This is because you can use the Gamepad as a screen. Someone could be watching tv while you’re using the Wii U.

In some games, such as Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, you are able to connect your 3DS to your Wii U if you have the game for both consoles. In this particular case, you are able to use your 3DS as a controller for this game on your Wii U. This can be very useful if you’re having friends over and you don’t have enough controllers.
