Hey students of RCMS.! Have you guys heard of the new up coming artist
Austin Mahone? Austin’s full name is Austin Carter Mahone. He was born
April 4, 1996 in San Antonio, Texas. He is currently 16. Austin is an
American pop singer that became popular by posting videos of him
singing on youtube. Austin knows how to play a couple instruments like
the guitar, drums, and soon the piano. By January 2011, he began to
build an online following. His followers are known as Mahomies. If you
want to follow Austin he has a Twitter, Facebook, Ustream, Keek, and
Tumblr. Austin Mahone is known as the up coming Justin Bieber. Austin
looks up to Justin and has done many covers like Mistletoe and One Less
Lonely Girl. Austin has had a some what difficult personal life.
Austin’s dad died when he was 16 months old and from then on has been
living with his mom in Texas. His mom got divorced from her second
husband and soon moved back to San Antonio to attend school. Soon after
he was home-schooled due to his growing fame.
Austin has currently had a debut single named “11:11” which was
released on February 14, 2012. This song was charted #19 on the
billboards. His second single “Say Something” was released on August
30, 2012. Since then Austin has played at the Q102 Springle Ball, B96
Summer Bash, had a concert in New York, and was interviewed with Elvis
Duran and the Morning Show. This teenage heartthrob is moving on with
his career, he is going on tour as the opener for six dates on Taylor
